However, daggers and agility play combine excellently with medium armor and bows, have some striking benefits with Nature magic tree, and can deal high damage (through guaranteed poisons) and is extremely survivable (through mobility and Nature summons/heals/entangles). You're also giving up the biggest benefit of 3 STR, access to 2H weapons this can be foregone if you're going to a full Ferocity dual-wield build (which allows you to dual-wield two full 1h weapons), or if you're using a shield, but it will never be made up for with daggers. There's no heavy armor end set that combos well with daggers. Heavy armor and daggers don't play well together. The damage scale from enemies becomes quite intense.ĭaggers go best with Banditry and Ferocity play, and can gain some benefit from Blood Magic but they are stifled by Blood Magic's built-in procs-per-minute limit, meaning the extra speed of daggers is lost. To be blunt, you're not going to accomplish a tanky build at endgame without a shield and some metagaming. And crafting is useful, especially when you upgrade all your Epic gear, items, weapons. And having 4 Charisma for my Bard build is fun too.Įach time I play a new game, start out brand new again, I find or come across things I didn't see or noticed before from previous game. I do miss the double jump from my other build with the 4 Agility. But I still play with my "main" for now, 3 Agility, 2 Charisma, 2 Intel, 1 Strength. I have several other characters/save files that I play off and on. Once you reach 50 or 70, you most likely will respec to better suit you play style, be it the Citadel, Expedition or Crafting mode or just exploring the rest of the game once you done with Story Mode. Staring out, its good to try what ever abilities/skills you have. And with 0 Charisma, you can eventually have one companion with you (if you don't mind wearing the hat, or any other pieces of the Diplomacy gear). Its similar to that double jump but much higher. You could also add a splash of Holy Magic, for the 3rd Paladin Seal.
